In contrast, polyurethane foam provides more cushion and softness. However, as an overall feel, the mattress doesn’t tend to sink too much. Sleepers still have the bloating feel when sleeping on the mattress.

When Tuft and Needle first launched they were a unique mattress offering online. However, over the last few years there are a number of new mattress competitors who are making better mattresses with better materials at a similar price point. Tuft and Needle's 3" of polyfoam comfort layer simply is not sufficient to create a balanced and comfortable level of sleep for most sleepers in my opinion. I no longer recommend Tuft & Needle.
